Bilingual Education License Completion

Offered online and in the classroom

Edgewood’s ESL/Bilingual program offers a pathway to add-on license in Bilingual/Bicultural Education. More than just a certificate, you’ll acquire the skills to be an effective educator of language learners. You’ll join a community of bilingual educators and you’ll access supports that set you up for success in the program and beyond.

Offered in a blended model of online and face to face sessions, the program includes 18 credits at just $569/credit. These credits can be applied to a Master of Arts in Bilingual Education. We provide personalized advising sessions for crafting a plan that works for you.

My bilingual courses taught me not only the mechanics of how to work with bilingual students, but crucially, we deeply explored why our work matters in terms of equity and justice through critical conversations and activities. As a result, I am an educator who applies a strong social justice lens to my work, and continues to seek personal and professional growth and impact on equity.
